Seleny & David Crosby, were both born and raised in their native Country Peru. They form a functional marriage couple, who after living a short romance entered in civil marriage on November, 24th, 2001, at the City of Jose Leonardo Ortiz, Peru. They had the opportunity to have a long and exciting honeymoon, where visited beautiful cities and States of Peru, Ecuador and USA as: Chiclayo, Piura, Tumbes, Nazca, Paracas, Ica, Arequipa, Lima, Cuzco, and Guayas and Guayaquil, and New York, California, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, and Florida. On July 17th, 2004, they formalized and blessed their union through a catholic marriage in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Both of them come from medium social class Peruvian catholic families. They were raised by their both parents, at the City of Chiclayo, a small metropolis by the Northern Peruvian Pacific Ocean, close to the border between Ecuador and Peru. This is a happily Christian married couple, who were blessed with 5-children: David Jr. (7) Seleny (6) Doris (6) Danielle (3) and Daniel (in heaven)
David was blessed twice by the birth of his older girls: Vivian Yessica (21) and Lilian Ivonne (18.) Vivian and Lilian live with their mother Zenaida (Zeny) in the City of West Jordan, Utah, USA.
Seleny & David Crosby moved from the historic and beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah, to the warm and friendly City of San Antonio, South Texas, on June of 2008, and from there, they share residence near to the City of Austin.
Seleny Crosby (Seleny Acha-Silva, maiden name) was born in Peru, in the City of Bagua, Department of Amazonas. At the age of 6 years old she moved with her parents (Hildebrando Acha-Jimenez and Juana Silva-Sanchez, together with her siblings Cecilia, Nilsa, and Jenny) to the warm Northern City of Chiclayo, best known as the “Capital de la Amistad.” (The Capital of Friendship,) and established home residence in Chiclayo Peru within the boundaries of the Sub-Division called “Satellite.”
Seleny, was raised under strong moral and spiritual values, in a happy and functional family. She concluded her Elementary education at School # "11-023," and completed her High School at "Saint Madeleine Sophie," both local schools in Chiclayo.
At a young age she was enrolled at the Regional Academy for Modeling. She performed successfully at different fashion and beauty events. Later, Seleny was admitted with honors to the Superior Pedagogic Institute "Sagrado Corazon de Jesus," in Chiclayo, Peru, http://www.ifdscj.net in the Program of Special Education for children, and stopped - temporarily - her higher education in the year 2002, when she moved to her new residence in the United States with her husband David, on May 2, 2002. However, Seleny was able to complete her last year of Higher Education in the year 2004, through Distance Education (Online) obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree of Science as a Teacher in Special Education.
Seleny is an outstanding athlete and an expert in martial arts. She obtained first and second places in several State, Regional, National, and International tournaments, in the forms of Kumite and Kata. She is a proud member of the JKA (Japan Karate Association) and the Peruvian Federation of Karate (FPK) http://www.federacionperuanadekarate.org, and the Colegio de Cinturones Negros de Karate del Peru http://www.ccnkp.org, (Black Belt Peruvian Association,) where she proudly held the Black Belt 1st Dan She was getting ready to take further advanced training but she was unable to achieve this task, since she moved with her husband David to the United States. She continues to practice this discipline and martial art Shotokan Karate, in a household and personal environment.
In USA, Salt Lake City, Utah, Seleny was admitted to the Salt Lake Community College, http://www.slcc.edu and completed with her two years of General Studies. Her higher education at the American Universities was temporarily suspended by the attention to her family business “Arcoroyal Latino Multiple Services," in addition to her full dedication and devotion to her husband and their 4-little children. Seleny arrived and spent her first years in the American Union, at Salt Lake City, Utah, together with her husband and their children. She likes and loves Salt Lake as it would be her second home, and she and her family is planning to eventually return to the Latter Days Saints City. Today, at San Antonio, TX, she has received awards as well dedicated Catechist, and is well respected member of her local Catholic Church. She and her whole attend faithfully weekly mass and participate along with other religious activities. Seleny and her husband are active members of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter, also Seleny is an active and appreciated volunteer at her local School District.
In her leisure time, Seleny enjoys sharing activities together with her family. She has extraordinary culinary skills, loves music and singing, she is a serious book reader, and enjoys walking, soccer, swimming, and karate.
David Crosby (David Crosby-Cruzado, as his used in Peru,) was born and raised in the city of Chiclayo, Peru, raised by his parents (David Crosby-Muro and Ma Soledad Cruzado de Crosby,) together with his three siblings Maria Soledad, Doris Jenny, and Jaime Ivan, under strong moral and spiritual family values. The four brothers share a common strong family support between them with love and mutual support.
David’s high school was completed in the City of Chiclayo; He was then admitted to the Chiclayo Superior Institute where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Later, he forwarded his education at the Law School of the Private University of Huanuco, and became a student leader. David moved to the State of New Jersey, USA, in January of 1993.
During the time that David lived in Peru, he was a public official, and served as the head of the Programming and Consolidation Unit, Department of Logistics, Electro-Norte Regional Chiclayo, which was a subsidiary of Electricity of Peru, Electro-Peru. At this company he was also a Union Leader, and became the founder and first Secretary General of the Regional Federation of Workers of the North Region of Peru (Feretrep-Renom,,) however, for personal reasons he moved to the United States, where he lived in the States of Florida, New Jersey, Utah, and currently resides with his family at the Great State of Texas. In spite that David’s loves the American soil and this great American nation of which he is a proud American citizen, David and Seleny, with tenderness and love are continually inspired by the beauty of their motherland Peru.
David obtained with honors from the Salt Lake Community College, Utah, his Associate's Degree in Social Science. He forwarded his education and achieved also with honors a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Criminal Justice and Law enforcement through Weber State University (Ogden, Utah)

Finally, David enrolled and obtained his second Master’s Degree of Science, with a high GPA from the University of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth University-VCU, http://www.vcu.edu/) in the Rehabilitation, Counseling and Psychology Program.
During his extensive professional career, David held important positions and duties with private companies, but mostly with Federal, State, and Local Governments, as Supervisor, Manager, Paralegal, Immigration Case Manager, Probation Officer, and currently as Professional Vocational and Rehabilitation Counselor, assisting people with mental health and physical disabilities, and/or substance abuse issues.
David mostly spent his spare time with his family. He plays guitar, likes to dance, outdoor activities, camping, movies, etc. He also is a martial arts practitioner in the form of Japanese Shotokan Karate, and he plays soccer with his minor children and wife. He is an active member of the Catholic Church, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, www.kofc.org/ and a proud member of American Freemasonry www.utahgrandlodge.org and http://www.grandlodgeoftexas.org. Our twins Seleny & Doris practice Hip Hop, where they won awards for their successful performance. Three of them are in a local school in San Antonio, Texas.
Our smallest Danielle is getting prepare prepared to be admitted next year to pre-kindergarten.
Our family shares together happily moments in love, spiritual peace, and unity, under the blessing of God and the Virgin Mary. We try using the talents and virtues given to us by God to comply with His commandments and Christian principles.
Seleny maintains permanent contact with his parents, siblings, and relatives in Peru, as well as with her sister Cecilia and her other relatives residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. David is fortunate to share – randomly – residence with his mother Cristy Jackson (AKA Maria Soledad Cruzado de Crosby) in Texas and Utah.
